Any player can defend and play up front. What we want is someone that can defend well, and score plenty of goals whilst playing up front.

What happened to all the headlines in"The Argus" about Bomo wanting to offload him on a "free"? The problem for them is, as you say, having an unhappy and voluble but talented player knocking around the training ground with the first-team squad pre-season is not exactly a desirable situation.

Sounds a reasonable enough swap, he might not have quite the goals output of McCormack but they'll be quids in.
