Wilkins could have selected two experienced players today in Butters and Reid.

Today was not good enough, against a more average team than ourselves.
wilkins has to go and go now.

Quite simply he should be :ban: :bigwave: wilkins.
I bet a defeat by Bournemouth would finish you off as well. And then the nurses would have a sticky mess to clean up. :nono:

Really though what are you? I assumed from all your falmer related lies you were some bitter masonic Lewes type, or a country village wannabe from that stop on the A27, but your dribblings about Knight and Wilkins, as well as the name, would suggest you know at least some things about the Albion, so it begs the question what kind of retarded Albion fan would make the posts you do, or if you're not one, why you bother...

Abort, retry, fail
No point in sacking a manager after two bad defeats, wait untill after January. See who Wilkins get on loan or buys, if results don't improve then he really should go. But if they do improve, then I hope you eat your words.

But if Wilkins isn't able to improve the squad, why would another manager be able to do just that? Would it be his fault if we were not able to sign the players we needed or he wanted? I would consider turning my back on the club if they gave him the boot this season. We are an ordinary team due to financial constraints and we shouldn't lose a promising young manager due to false aspirations.

We need a new centre midfielder, a right winger and a another stiker to partner Forster. If he can find these three key transfers, then I will be happy. But if he doesn't then, relegation scrap could be on the horizon. I don't want Wilkins to go, but if things don't improve then it could end up that way.

Fair comment but I really do doubt whether we will be signing anyone of note in January. The funds are just not there especially now that Bas, Richards, O'Callahan and Martot (soon) are off the wage book.

I was thinking more along the lines of needing 6 new players.

Goalie, left back, centre back, central midfielder, left midfielder, striker.

Yesterdays game can't be described as a bad defeat, isn't it the best result we have ever had against them?

Can see the natives turning ugly if Bournemouth get a couple of early goals.

Mind you, they were pretty ugly to start with.

How very dare you....! I resemble that remark...!

I don't agree with JBE for one minute as he is a stirrer of the 1st degree but Wilkins does have to take some blame for the last two defeats. Exactly the same thing happened last year over the Christmas period. Was it really necessary to do two lots of training Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day? As pointed out McGhee always let the players have Christmas Day off and we won the Boxing Day matches with him.
It's easy to blame the players and/or the board (I did the same myself when things went wrong for McGhee) but look at Palace (I know it's an awful comparison) Warnock hasn't changed any players but has taken them from the relegation zone to near the playoffs with motivation, good selection and tactics.
The buck always stops with the manager.

If having them in for training over Christmas has little to do with it, that just seems to be looking for fault with the current manager.

However I do think recent dressing room strife and departures have been an issue.
