Bart bridging to make the save.
Bart has had an excellent game - his confidence has come on exponentially this season.

Ferguson coming on with 6 minutes of normal time to go.

Tbh, with Weiffer and O'Riley on the bench, probably should have taken him off.

If Baleba was headstrong and not able to navigate being on a yellow, you might have a point, but Baleba is our best player in that position and he didn't commit a yellow card offence, the ref is simply incompetent

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When a second yellow is given resulting in a red, VAR should be allowed to be intervene.
I don't disagree, because obviously it majorly changes the course of a game, but...

Refs have pretty broad discretion when it comes to yellows. We've all seen yellows given as a result of accumulated smaller fouls rather than one particularly bad offense. Usually that's not what they do on a second yellow, granted, but do you have VAR review every pervious incident to decide if this was worth a yellow?

And either way, Baleba's wasn't even a foul.

Brilliant challenge from Veltman at the edge of the box.

6 minutes of additional time tacked on.

C’mon lads.
