I've come back home.
Not able to go to the game and dont have Sky but want to stream it on laptop and play it on the TV is that easy to do.

Do you have a pc with a monitor? If so take the monitor cable out and use that between you tv and laptop and select pc input on the tv (you might have to flick between outputs on the laptop, possibly the function key and f5.) sound can either be from the laptop, seperate speakers or a mini Jack to mini jack from the headphones out to sound in or mini jack to phono in also will work.

Goodluck with the streaming sites just remember what ever it says, WHAT EVER IT SAYS, do not download anything, it's lying to you.

You could try asking a kind, benevolent friend who does have Sky if you might use their SkyGo log-in for one day, sign in on aforementioned sight and stream in the knowledge that all is well with the world and no 'dodgy' practices have taken place. Then simply use HDMI from laptop to TV. BINGO.

You have to watch on the screen of the machine that has SkyGo. It can't be "thrown" to a tv screen even with an HDMI cable. Believe me I've tried.

I beg to differ. I use Firefox and have no problems using HDMI. Important though to remember to plug HDMI in first for some reason prior to opening browser etc. It does NOT work however on things such as Apple TV.

Erm. Yes you can. Not with other devices but with a Laptop there's nothing stopping you.

Fair enough I have SkyGo on my ipad and it cannot be done. Are you saying that if I moved it to a Windows pc it would work?

I would prefer to go to a pub and watch it but have to drive later in the day and if you saw the pubs in HH that have sky you would understand why that is a no go. I suppose I could go to Jacobs Post in Burgess Hill and have an all day breakfast while I watch the game.

If you were to Jailbreak your iPad you'd find a number of apps (or at least you used to be able to) that would allow you to stream from your iPad. Laptops work without any fiddling.

That can happen near any pub in the country and also note it was at 11.50pm so probably youths/men under the infulence of excess alcohol giving them more bravado and warping their judgement.

This wouldnt be a problem if HH had a Wetherspoons:glare:

Thanks to the posters on here who helped me out with leads etc for my laptop. I use firefox and when I got my HDMI lead I plugged it into my laptop then the TV and away I went. Couldn't believe how easy it was.

should of done it sooner as saving so much money now and the picture on the TV is much clearer than it is on the laptop.

Is there often much trouble at this fixture? If there are all these background checks and restricted seat allocations & segregation, there must be past experience of disorder, but I don't remember there being much aggro between the two sides before? I mean, yeah we're both South coast clubs, but that's like taking a strict line if Hull played Sunderland, because they're both North-eastern coastal teams.

Puh-lease, how old do you think I was back then?! Can you imagine a three year old leading the charge of an Albion mob onto the pitch?

So you weren't in the Albion Under 5's crew

First ive heard of any background checks ???

Seat allocations and especially segregation are common at practically every single ground in the country.
