I was definitley going, but our dog has been ill the past few days so decided to stay home, but he seems to have perked up now so doesnt need me to babysit him. The weather should be OK tomorrow, it's only 30 mins down the road, and they might even win, but now I'm not sure I want to spend my pennies on a rubbish game like football when I could spend it in the sales!!

Sales are really boring, Race. People buy things they don't really want just because they're cheaper. Why not travel to Bournemouth and meet some interesting people, watch a game of football and, as you say, we might even win.

No trip to the delightful Brasshouse then?

Is Berlins and The cage and zoo still alive and well in B'Mouth

Brasshouse is still around and a major meatmarket for the working class!

Cage & Zoo are merged now as Elements - which is pretty rough I got bottled there a couple of years ago

Berlins has been renamed a few times now and is pretty woeful - interior is still the same.

Used to go in a pub down by Gervis place bottom of central gardens next to a fish resturant place - used to serve Hoegarden can't remember what it was called being ten odd years a go now.

And that Nightclub in Boscombe the Academy?

the Academy is now the Opera House - which was massive 3-4 years ago (slinkys).

Even though Bmuff is a really popular place now it has got watered down a bit - there is just too many bars and clubs, the choice is confusing.

Haven't been down there for a few years now - also used to go in that Hogshead near cage and zoo and some Irish bar down that way.

Not forgetting "For Your eyes only"

Be good to have wander around down there agian athough alot of pubs will probably be shut being New Years Day..

Should be tremendous scenes of blue & white as the 5½ thousand West Ham ticket holders travel down to the Fitness First Stadium.
