I heard it was 3am kick off so it can be shown at 3pm the other side of the world

If Bournemouth is a noon ko and the Newcastle game remains as scheduled, it will be just a 43 hour gap between matches, in which time we have to travel from one end of the country to the other and the players have to recover. Not good.

I would be happy with any kick off time as I do not celebrate New Years Eve anymore my major concern is public transport to the game or rather the lack of, remembering that we must pamper to the train drivers.

Do you need to factor in a roast or carvery on that day too?

No as wife will be at home to cook it and my brother in law, who attends Ferring Country Centre with learning difficulties, will be at ours so no need to get him back to Ferring, which is why we usually have to buy a roast out.

My wife's due date is 30th December so was never getting down to this anyway so if it's on tv I can watch it on Sky Sports App in the delivery suite. Ideal.

If she has it on time you'll be fine then. Are you dashing back from Newcastle the day before?
