Sorry boys but fls and cvas mean nothing as my yes just skew with all the ins and outs fo the Leeds issue..... just wanted to know if not giving Leeds the points back will create a precedent which will make Bournemouth's survival less likely?

hard to say, sully.

there are too many possible outcomes from this week. i assume your colleague means if our points are not returned bournemouth (without a cva) would have to be deducted 15 points and as such, could they survive that?

Losing 15 points would confirm their relegation, which although not yet certain looks pretty likely, I can't see what difference that would make. The main issue is that they are able to fulfil their remaining (three) fixtures and that the club is still functioning in order for them to take up their place in the league next season, rather than fold completely and have to reform further down the pyramid.

But Gully, it depends whether they got the 15 points this season or next. If it is this season, then yes it will make bugger all difference. But if it's next season, there's a risk of falling straight through League 2, and then all of a sudden you could be looking at a semi-pro club, nowhere near as attractive an investment.

I thought that the issue was whether they would lose the points this season, accept your comment about them being less attractive as an investment with a negative start next season, guess their main priority at the moment is just to find a buyer...if they fold completely then the points issue will be a complete irrelevance, regardless of when they might be deducted.

Sincerely hope they find a suitable buyer soon.
