Sadly there's more chance of Peter Ward making a comeback than us signing anyone this window I reckon. A few outgoings and Moder and possibly Tau in before his contract runs out is all I expect. Potter was brought in to improve largely what he has and I'd be seriously surprised if we spent any cash in January.

Sadly I think this is likely true. Looks like exactly what we need.

We had a chance to sign him - we missed it. Now it's too late. He is worth much more now than in summer transfer window. Also attracting bigger clubs than Brighton. Another wasted transfer opportunity

Not really judging by his showreel:

https://youtu.be/LuhVjdTLVtk

He is 5ft 11”, frighteningly quick and very powerful with a trick or two up his sleeve. Most of his goals are well taken on the break from a reasonable distance, not tap ins. Plays more like Mane then Murray.

Thank you. Very interesting. Thought we would go for Muzza 2, but apparently not.

Reports in France that West Ham are trying to sign him as a replacement for Haller, who is going to Ajax.

£25M for Haller to? Wow

I think with Percy back, we should be after a Muzza 2. Still got my fingers crossed for a Yaremchuk, Edouard or 6ft7” Paul Onuachu (suggested by @viper).

This looks a balanced strike force that can withstand potential frequent injuries to Connolly & Welbeck:

Muzza 2
Connolly
Maupay
Welbeck

Zeqiri - loan.

Haller is actually a very good player, he will get plenty of goals in Holland and in Europe.

Sometimes it just doesn’t work out for a player at a club or in a certain league, doesn’t mean he is a bad player. And West Ham are probably a harder club than most to settle at!

He wants to compete to win things and play Champions League. No point staying at West Ham!

If raiding French League for ‘Muzza 2’ then Kasper Dolberg is at Nice these days. 14 in 32 in the league (certainly not all starts/full 90 mins), young and did well for Denmark against England.
