Oops, my mistake. Just noticed that the OP refers to yesterday's apology. Oh I'm sure that one was sincere. Whatever could ever make anyone think that he might be apologising to dig himself out of a hole that he dug with his own lies?

I don't find his behaviour staggering, it's too predictable for that, What I do find staggering is the sheer stupidity of people voting for him, what kind of governance and life were they looking for?

Ultimately it is not a personal issue and I don't understand how anyone can 'love' or 'hate' the PM. We don't know him... so no one can judge at that level.

We can only make up our minds on this one matter... 'Is he fit to lead and represent our people?' Separating out the personal and focusing on his actions and inactions over time, I believe the answer is that he is not.

There are but as Starmer rightly says here, it's about the complete disregard for those of us that couldn't be there during a family member's final moments or attend a funeral or a wedding because we followed the rules. The conservatives and especially Johnson love opinions like yours.

Knowing him, he will probably claim it backs as expenses.

I think that is the last thing he would do either in person or by delegation. Remember his personal finances are in utter turmoil and not just because he can't keep it in his trousers for very long. He is a hopeless optimist as well as a compulsive liar. He never has a plan other than to bumble his way through everything and hope he can make people laugh along and then someone else will foot the bill.

I agree that there are more important things to be getting on with. I also agree that the government should get on with sorting out people's priorities.

The problem is, the government seem incapable of doing just that anyway.
