Just for the record can you clarify how many times you have modestly mentioned/claimed you are a key worker on NSC?

What a disgusting post. I always thought you were a decent bloke with a differing political opinion. Turns out you're a fking tosspot.
Another sleepless night for me then. Of all the people on here I thought you would be aware of Clampys track record/Walter Mitty claims.

I went round to my old pal tonight to watch some footy. His daughter was to join us all for Christmas but she lives in the north west. Kybosh. He said he's been lonely today. Late 70s. Former social worker. Did his bit. It isn't right , any of this. The ****er Boris has been larding it about like Nero. People are being crushed by his joke leadership. Stay safe, and PM me any time. I'm on Skype and Teams with acquaintances all the time. We need to stick together

My son was due to come down from Scotland for Christmas, haven't seen him for 3 months it's anybody's guess how long it will be now. He is not very happy

Ok here we go, you state let people live their lives how they want to. Correct?

So here I am, living my life. Protecting my disabled wife, who suffers from a very rare lung disease. Not her fault but is caused by mutated hormones.

She has been a prisoner in our home for 9 months. Myself and daughter have continued to work to pay bills, for food. My job is specialist but requires me to work away and in contact with others and in very public arenas. A horrible situation for me.

It has been obvious since spring that people have to act responsibly, many haven't. Regardless of political ideals, the message has been to be responsible, many have completely disregarded this and continued their lives. There's no way every situation fits all so there's a level that each area is supposed to adhere to. They haven't, so we get a lockdown. People moan and still some carry on as if it doesn't affect them.

People are responsible for their own actions, not the government or the courts, they themselves. Unfortunately there's too many selfish runts about that the government have to take action.

Am I annoyed? Too right I am. Those that deny there's an issue are idiots, those that complain their Christmas is ruined are idiots, ****ing grow up. I couldn't give a flying **** about Christmas, I give a **** about a complete ******** giving my family a deadly virus that could be avoided.

If you can't understand that you're one of them.

Excellent post.

Callers to 5live this week boasted about restaurant meals taken in the last few months of load of folk from many different households on the same table. They lied to the restaurants that they were just from two households. They got the impression that the restauranteurs sussed, but also didn’t give a shit, loved the dosh.

Very pleased with themselves, how they’d beaten demonic “Whitty”.

This is what this country/HM government/scientists and 75% who care have contended with.

Wnkrs, spreading coronavirus.

Indeed.

As I said in the summer we should have protected the vulnerable and let everyone else go back to work. It could have been easily managed. I would happily have stayed in a room upstairs.

But...no.

As much as I love you chap, that's ridiculously simplistic, but I can't be bothered to type anything about it as Palace are getting stuffed on MotD.

Dilemma. Do I have my lonely 34 year old son (who lives across town) round for Christmas dinner or my lonely 77 year old neighbour and pal? The latter is happy for the former to join us. Mrs T is worried. Tricky phone call tomporrow. If the boy is being sensible and working from home we should be OK.....

Meanwhile, the selfish cockwombles are having it large.

Can't you have your son round, and feed your neighbour over the fence (wearing a big coat if it's cold and wet). A bit like leaving some cat food out for the local hedgehogs [emoji3071]

Well....

Lockdown, buggering about (the Boris plan) or my plan....I like my plan the best. :lolol:

Enjoy the footy old friend, and I wish you the best Christmas you can manage :thumbusp:

My old man died when he was exactly my age. I'd not bet against me getting coughed at by some tit when I'm forced into work and going the same way. Frightened? Yes I am, to be fair.

One active account. No lies, just posts you don’t believe. Anyway, this thread doesn’t want a binfest and whether you believe it or not I have better things to do than argue with the likes of you.
Troll away, I’m done responding to you.
Get some sleep.

It's like you're too stupid to admit the truth. This isn't about which party is in charge, it is two men. One says it how it ought to be. The other mocks him in a vaguely embarrassingly yobbish way, waits 2 weeks (when it's too late) and then disrupts everybody's plans because he failed to provide leadership when it was needed most as he was more scared to admit it was needed in case in upset the proles he relies on.

Boris Johnson is THE worst PM we will ever see, and the only people who disagree are the ignorant boorish simpletons (like you've just proved you are) whose support propped up his shameful, populist, rudderless and corrupt government.

You really believe Corbyn would have been better, delusional. Nobody could foresee Covid on the horizon. It would cripple all governments no matter what brand or nationality. They must have been quite popular to win by 80 seats how unpopular does that make the rest. Think on it.

I am interested in the spike in Germany. They are very hygienic...what's gone wrong?

According to BBC’s Jenny Hill, based in Berlin, in the end their much praised track n trace couldn’t cope with the sheer numbers infected and the 100’s people each had come into contact with.

Plus some German states acting arrogantly, pursuing different paths initially from Merkel’s dictate. (Away from the always bad news given from the media here .... awful UK and all that .... similar issues prevail in other major European democracies too. Belgium the worst example, the CV19 per capital death capital of Europe, Wallonia refusing to be pushed around by what they see as a Flemish federal government).

Yes. It’s common knowledge. A retired account that I haven’t used for many years. I changed my user name basically. It’s not unusual. Does this really need to be discussed on a Covid thread?
Feel free to PM me with any more questions. Or better yet, PM JCFG, he claims to know all about me :)

Arrogant Germans, you say? ???

Stay safe, my friend. At the end of the season we'll meet for a beer before a home game. It will happen, if these vacines work, which they may :thumbusp:

It has been, fact.

Scotland, Wales, France, Italy and all the others have also had shocking CV19 numbers. Without a Tory in sight. Their leaders also slagged off.

Will do.

(I love Germany btw, just relaying what was reported about some state leaders throwing their weight around against Berlin).

First day back in our pub today (Bristol). We obviously encouraged people to follow the guidelines but we can't do things like prove who is in what household.
We can't keep an eye on every person who legs it to the toilet or for a fag without their mask. etc etc etc
Now we still haven't seen any stats that suggest transmission is particularly high in our industry, but people really don't care any more. They're tired, frustrated and confused. And selfish, i guess.
It's really not hard to see why there is such a problem.
Either we need to go in to a proper lockdown, UK wide, like lockdown 1, or there is no point.

Hi mate yep our city is doing it's best today to restore its position in the top tier. What pub do you refer to?

I'm no Corbyn fan, but irrespective of political persuasion, I'd take someone who doesn't lie, doesn't give contracts to his supporters and doesn't rule by populism any day of the week. You say it's delusional like it's a fact. It isn't a fact. Whereas Johnson is unfit to govern as his Brexit and Covid track record have proven. His mismanagement and incompetence is clear for all to see. I can't see how Corbyn would have been any worse at all, sorry. And as I say, I'm NOT a socialist.
