Lorry drivers, and supermarket workers don't have to self isolate, essential workers! Only the self righteous leftie guardian readers would not put Prime Minister in the same category!

He still a **** who hasn’t quite grasped the concept of leadership.
I wouldn’t follow Boris into a pub if he was buying all night!

Sure that the left wing labour luvvies would like the pandemic to carry on for ever, for political point scoring,, Boris has had covid, has been vaccinated with two doses, and tested regularly, just let him get on with running the country,

he couldn't and probably doesn't run his own bath let alone a country as great as ours.

Fine. But the government have specifically categorised these jobs as 'essential'. They specifically haven't categorised themselves as 'essential workers'. So they should abide by the rules they themselves have set - rather than avoid them as they please. It wouldn't be an issue if their job had been listed as one of those that don't have to self-isolate.

If anyone should have a special pass in these extraordinary times it should be the PM.

Why, he gets the virus for a second time and continues his official engagements, how many other people is he going to pass the virus onto.

Given that Parliament is in recess, which of his duties as PM can he not undertake by isolating and talking to others by video conference or telephone. All official papers can be left outside his isolating room so he can pick up.

Strange that when he did one of his many U-Turns and isolated after being in close contact with the Heath Sec. the country didn't grind to a halt and the Government did not stop functioning.

It would be far better if Johnson set an example by isolating, so the general public retain faith in the need to self isolate.

However as per usual Johnson just doesn't know how to lead and continues to damage the country's route away from the virus.

If anyone should have a special pass in these extraordinary times it should be essential workers who can't perform their functions remotely using technology.

Last time the PM wanted to break his own rules on Isolating, he was forced to U-turn and self isolated, performing all his duties remotely using technology. I don't understand what has changed since then to make this instance different

Yeah, another COVID/ISOLATION/BOJO thread.

Top work.

Exactly. Can we just have one Bojo thread like Trump..... so far thats three this week.

:nono:

No fan of Johnson, but all a bit tedious to start a new thread every couple of days

I agree it's tedious. Maybe if we got him to stop doing stupid things every couple of days

I don't get it.

So, surely the opposition will be predominantly Labour by definition.

I think the point is that labour are so hopeless that the only credible opposition to BJ is from within his own party. Does feel like that at times which is not good at all

You know, I agree. That would be a good idea.
Genuinely didn’t think there’d be people annoyed at this thread. Not the Boris thing but just for posting it in the first place. I just avoid threads that don’t appeal to me or bore me, I genuinely don’t understand why someone would go onto a thread to say how much they don’t like the existence of the thread. But yeah, I get it. Fair enough.

He will continue to be a hypocritical workshy lying cretin and the worst PM we've ever had, but I actually agree with NSC's gammonati - let's keep it all on one thread.

Having nibble start thread after thread isn't changing hearts and minds any more than when the same old clueless angry goons post "Potter out" threads after a defeat is going to change my mind over whether I want that to happen.

I’m not starting “thread after thread”. I agree it should be on one combined thread. No need to bullshit.

I wasn't actually bullshitting or even criticising you - simply paraphrasing one of the gammonati as one of them had said to you "we all know you hate Boris" or something.

You’re claiming I start “thread after thread”. Which is clearly untrue. I rarely start threads and can’t recall another thread I have started about Johnson. But whatever, I have no appetite for a row. I simply request you don’t exaggerate.
