drunk nothing christmas day or boxing day though. next session new years eve...

Today is my first Alcohol free day since 21st Dec. Making the most of it as out for a pub lunch tomorrow. Then will try and keep dry Friday. I see that supermarket booze is going up soon thanks to our Coalition Gvt. Is there anything good that they have done since they came to power? Name a single thing.. Going off track now..maybe this should be a new thread.

One of my soberest Christmas Days in years. Two and half pints in the pub before lunch. 1 bottle of wine between the two of us over dinner in a restaurant and a Tia Maria each after. Most strange of all, nothing once we got home!

knocked off work last thursday and have consumed 58 440ml tins of stella , 2 bottles of merlot , one litre of bombay saff (with fever tree tonic water , best drink ever!!) and my wife and i had a bottle of champagne and shared a further 2 bottles of red wine , all that is up until now 10 30 pm on weds night , oh and half a bottle of m s vintage port

2 pints of guiness yesterday, had a bug over Christmas so didn't drink with gut rot and the shits.

Xmas eve I got absolutly bladdered, drank for about 10 hours!! all I can say is thank god we had not arranged anything for xmas day as we were both quite ill to say the least!!

Xmas day = no drink at all (no surprise there!)

Boxing day, big family party at my daughters, I drank for 12 hours hence not to well yesterday, but did manage 2 cans as my son was staying with us and had the cans while watching footie but it was not going down well!!

Today = 1 pint with an evening meal

Tomorrow (Thursday) I doubt anything, if I do it will be a can or 2 with our evening meal.

Friday again same as Thursday probably

Saturday New Years Eve, it will be a big one, going out with friends in the afternoon then ending up back at ours with the same friends, so will probably be another 10 to 12 hour stint

Sunday = Sleep for 2 days

Nothing Christmas Eve and Christmas day due to work,but have caught up with 4 bottles of Ridgeview Sussex fizz,2 bottles of Port and 4 bottles of a very fine Rioja! NICE!

I normally count my intake of lager over the Christmas period by the crate but due to a pre Christmas accident I have been on pain killers most of the time. My total so far is two pints of lager and a glass of bucksfizz.
