I swear to god we have a good amount of fans ? that would prefer us to still be playing in league 2 in the hope we get a big club like Aston Villa in the 3rd round of the FA Cup , unreal .

You'd think we'd learn lessons from Newcastle & Norwich. It didn't do either of them any good.

Precisely put, the Premier League for smaller clubs is a very difficult situation but I have great faith we will get through this.

Where was this booing? I'm in the north stand and didn't hear any booing.
That's the problem with streams. They can pick up a few people near a microphone.
RM Taylor doesn't post for weeks but then starts a thread because he heard few boos.

It was mentioned by the commentators on the stream and has been admitted by a number of posters on here.

I don’t come on here that much anymore, not that it matters. Gone are the days where I’d be on here for hours a day, I’ve grown up a lot and have a family to look after now.

He said post match that he was “hugely disappointed ...[Albion] conceded a really poor goal..really good opportunity missed ...you’ve got to be able to kill the game off [in the second half]”

outplayed by the players on the pitch , the contrast between first and second half is baffling ..........the mindset of the team as a whole must be questioned , 2 bad results on the bounce is no good for them either, and i mean bad result in the manner in which points have been lost when we have been ahead and in control and then thunk ourselves out of a winning position.

The ref fecked us again. We've had lots of 1-0 wins lately.

Yes it's annoying but over medium term it has been getting better. Just need to get more consistant but an average team will have ups and downs in this league.

Congratulations but you still took the time out to start a negative thread.

A draw after being 1-0 up against ten men isn’t actually as bad as it sounds. In my opinion a man advantage is not actually as much of an advantage as a lot of people think. So I can accept the result. However, what is unforgivable is Hughton’s approach to the second half. It’s really a perfect summary of his approach to so many games in the last 18 months. Cardiff was bad, this was even worse.

The guy has spent £100m+ on players yet doesn’t have the confidence in them to actually encourage them to play football, move the ball, attack, get forward, shoot etc. Every single week we are so ****ing boring. It does my head in. If we aren’t losing he simply sits on what he has. As soon as something goes against us he makes a change. It’s so negative and simply invites pressure on our goal. He’s the most reactive manager I’ve ever seen. Our lack of possession in every game is embarrassing. He persists with players who aren’t good enough while expensive signings sit on the bench. We are an absolute farce away from home, so if that’s the case the very least he should do is try and attack at home.

Somehow he’s built this reputation as someone who is working a miracle. He’s not, he’s spent a fortune. We aren’t the penniless club that’s just happy to be here now, the resources available to him demand certain levels to be met and, in my opinion, they’ve not been this season. Boos after that? Too bloody right.

This just about sums it up for me,every home game this season is like groundhog day. Everyone around me in WSU are getting uptight about the tactics, we're even betting on when CH will make his 1st sub,69.70 or 71min. You simply can't defend the tactics being used at home,we're riding our luck and away from home the tactics are the same and results are appalling. Yesterday, down to 10 men Leicester played with 2 up front and went for it and we fell in to the usual negative tactics. I watched CH for awhile and his only answer seemed to be to urge the players to pushup and press but with Murray and Gross up front that's not an option late in the game, both don't have the pace. Also at every Brighton goalkick, Murray was double marked but no change in tactic against 10 men. This is not the 1st time we've seen CH out though in tactics by a visiting manager.

It's a fair point of debate, not negative

Pointing out booing isn't negative? Especially when watching a stream & relying on someone else's comments.

I was in the ground, and didn't hear anything. As I said before, there may have been pockets of fans, but it wasn't widespread throughout the ground, let alone most fans.

I don’t personally agree with booing and I didn’t but to deny it happened, however many it was, is ridiculous. There were boos coming from all over the ground, it was not just a pocket of fans.

Quite a few boo'd near me in WSU and yes it wasn't pretty - one old boy even fell asleep 2 rows in front. On the way out many comments on the train about not providing entertainment anymore. I nearly got into trouble by suggesting we're in the survival business, not the entertainment business - many did not agree so I shut up.

Having travelled to Gillingham years ago for every 'home' game I have certainly seen some dark days so to be disappointed with only drawing with Leicester is all relative to me.

Pretty entertaining game I thought. Plenty going on all the way through - result always in the balance either way.

So by entertaining I suppose they mean it’s boring if Albion don’t win - which is not the same thing at all.

If we lost every single week, I’d get fed up with it but otherwise, for anyone that enjoys football, it’s hard to see what the problem is.

I am not denying it happened. Some have said it was aimed at the useless referee. I heard Leicester fans singing you're not fit to referee.
I am saying I didn't hear it in the north stand.
The OP has form for starting miserable threads.

Quite. Chris Hughton according to the Argus was not pleased with the second half performance. To blame his tactics is just stupid.

I wish I had his job.
Only take responsibility for what works.
