I could tell you where your money will go before the ball lands on William Hill machines and Ladbrokes if it helps GG it is the position of the zero when the animation starts on Ladbrokes Cash Quest around the 12 O'clock position is zero 3 26 and 15 one to two o'clock 10, 8 and 11 three to four o'clock 25 17 13 1 20 four til six o' clock 1 20 33 14 six til nine o' clock 16 30 28 29 35 7 22 21 2 nine until twelve o' clock 36 6 27 12 4.

William Hill it is where the ball appears when the animation starts between 12 and five o'clock you get 0 15 19 17 2 25 13 30 11 36 five to seven o;clock 23 8 5 24 33 20 1 seven to twelve o'clock 22 28 29 7 35 12 26 3

Haven't had too much to do since September 2007

Sadly I cannot tell you this until you have pressed the BET button!!

Because the casino wouldn't allow punters covering every number bar 1 (sometimes all of them) on every spin for hours on end !

Also, they wouldn't let their croupiers be kicked and spat at like the fobt punters do on regular occasions (witnessed first hand yesterday)

One of my mates used to swear by something like this, I never understood what he was going on about, he did seem to win quite a bit whenever I was watching him though.

I've watched people pump £20 after £20 into these things and not bat an eyelid. I wish I'd invented it.

Anyone played these c*nting machines ?. They make up 90% of the bookies profits. I have to my stupidity had my pants dropped and been rogered up the bottom many time on this machines from the Devil. It is no coincidence that the man who invented the roulette wheel made a deal with the Devil to sell his soul. Did you know the 37 numbers on a roulette wheel add up to 666 ?.

Its true check for yourself.

Anyone got any tales of their experiences on these Fixed Odds Terminal Bets ?.

Its Rando,.

Is it f***.

Unfortunately GG the number of the beast is 661, not, as most people think, 666. It must be true, Lord Stephen Fry said so on QI.

Saw a t-shirt that had '665 -- Neighbor of the Beast' on it.

Laughed all day.

I have heard of other people who can do this.

its simply a graphic, they can predict what number it lands on due to the corresponding number when the ball is released, but at that stage it's too late to bet
so as impressive as it is, it's pointless

I will walk away as you stand a sporting chance on the Horses, Dogs and Football. Something the bookies cannot manipulate to their advantage. When you think about it to bet on a machine run by and controlled by the bookie is utter madness :shootself

when they first came out at ladbrokes, the eastern europeans who used to play them in camden, used to see the number from the start as you say and because they used to crowed round one would pull the plug out, therfore the machine would pump out the recipt slip before it paid out on a looser.then they alarmed them so you cant do it anymore.

The crack cocaine analogy is a good one - a bit like spread betting 20 years ago, but that wasn't available in 8000 high-street outlets.

The machines are designed to push every psychological button, particularly the classic "near-miss" when you're getting close to the last spin of the reel. But all they are is a mathematical algorithm, which will slice off your money one tenth of one per cent at a time.

If you study racing form in sufficient detail, or football form for that matter, you can turn a profit. I know a dozen people who make their living from betting on horses, and a couple more who do it from football (and that doesn't include Tony Bloom).

It all comes down to the effort you are prepared to put in. FOBTs are quick-fix, robotic gambling machines that give you a brief thrill, but they don't half ensure that you pay for it.

Or if you're a lazy sod like me tune in to Sky 866 and get real roulette in your living room.

I'll never bet on a 'virtual' roulette wheel again. I've had my fingers burnt in the past.
