Maybe the biggest bunch of twats to ever have watched the Albion. Booing Murray because he missed a good chance and then ripping into the team at half time.

Then the best supporters going when we got the equaliser.

Total utter pricks who are an embarrasment to the club. Should stick to baiting stewards.

I agree actually.

Yes, i'm a Wilkins outer, but i'm not a vocal one at games.

That group of H blockers are absolute GOONS. No doubt about it. Singing about Bowditch being shit, telling him to f*** off back to Ipswich - what's that about? Singing for Robinson all second half...why?

Fickle buggers - screaming abuse until we're winning, then making noise as if we'd won the cup final. Twats.

You may not like it but they are the same fans that come week in week out come what may.

2000 others dont come at all anymore.

Have to say many other clubs fans get on their teams backs to a much greater degree than ours.

They are nerds. I dont care what other clubs fans do and I dont think we are playing great but booing a lad who has just joined and scored 3 in 5 is pathetic. I pulled a couple up as I left and they seemed miffed.

they were great at the end though singing there heads off.

Have to say that the atmosphere at Withdean is one of the reasons that I now restrict myself to a handful of away games each season, I know that you pay your money and make your choice, there is no way I am going to make a 300 mile round trip to be surrounded by people who just whinge, moan and shout abuse at our players for most of the game.

Not restricted to H block unfortunately. Sat in D block today and was amazed at some of the comments. One fella was screaming abuse at Forster and in all honesty i would've applauded Forster if he'd walked up the stairs and twated the bloke, even if it meant just shutting him up! I'm all for everyone has their own opinion and has paid their entrance fee, but jeez there's pushing it way beyond the line of decency sometimes.

I don't think they were booing Murray as such, but the inept performance in general which was highlighted by three sitters being sent straight into the keeper.

They are quite vocal about things which are maybe unreasonable, but I wouldn't criticise them because they do sing through the whole match, and do keep coming every week. To be honest the South Stand would be pretty dead without that block singing until corners or free kicks. The booing at half time was reasonable in my mind. I think every fan has the right to boo at a team, it's hardly personal abuse, and what better time to do it than as they go into half time to think about what a woeful performance they're putting in. Of course as soon as the team score the singers get back behind them, because that's what they've been asking for all match, but players and management have to earn support and at times this evening it wasn't at all suprising that there was a complete lack of it.

I would like to know how booing a team is going to motivate them - if they actually sat back and look at what has happened since christmas how on earth is it Dean Wilkins fault - he had built a team and a good team that were playing well and Dick ruined it - at the end of the day we had only lost 2 games from september to Christmas and were heading in the right direction - The blame lays at the chairman door i am afraid - i am pleased that he saved the club all those years ago but he is doing us no favours now by holding the club back - some of the idiots that came on the phone in after the match are unbelievable - Dean is a good manager and if people stopped ranting and looked at what he has on the bench and how many injures and problems he has too deal with - He wroks wonders get supporting him Dean Ian and ALL THE TEAm - After all said and done being a brighton fan is SUPPORTING Win Lose and Draw!!!!!

Forster may not have scored in 10 or 12 or whatever but I bet he is still top at the moment when it comes to player of the season. Those twats you talk of Grizz will never see that though.

I might even boo if there is lack of effort. They were trying tonight but things were just not coming off.

this is Div 3 in real money and these players lack consistency but thats no reason to boo them........................... maybe I just have different values to some at the ground tonight.

How easy would it be to turn abuse into encouragement, that is far more likely to spur someone on to greater things, there really are some mind-f**ked numb nuts following our team.

I have never, and will never, shout abuse at an individual player or boo the team. It is probably a good thing I don't go to Withdean that often, I would probably end up in constant argument with those who abuse the team.

Why don't you just sit somewhere else?

Because when you walk away from your last game shaking your head and viewing your own clubs fans as a bunch of wankers it's very hard to get the enthusiasm for going back again.

I was in J block tonight, and there was an argument between two sets of our OWN supporters!

Some of the fans were chanting "Wilkins Out", and a few of the guys on the other side of the stand told them all to "F**k Off". This resulted in the stewards getting into their starting blocks, ready for some action.

To be honest, I thought the atmosphere in J block was quite good for most of the game. There are always gonna be a few who spoil it, but on the whole I had a good time in my first J Block outing.

It was nice to sit in a part of the ground that actually HAD an atmosphere for a change!
