CH should never have played the lad he is so far out of his depth.
This looks like bad news for the lad - he's been loaned out all over the place, but 3 goals in 59 appearances suggest that he really isn't much of a striker (he's scored a lot in youth internationals, but we all know that success at youth level doesn't always transfer to the 'real' professional game). He might be an Arsenal player, but coming to the Albion on loan could well be his last chance, at a high level anyway - and it looks as if he's having difficulty taking it.

Most fans would forgive a trier but he looked less than interested. His runs were very leisurely and made it very easy for defenders.

... a month or so ago I took my daughter to get autographs of the players, and Akpom stood out - first for having a huge showy car, which at his age and pedigree seemed well over the top, secondly for being the last player to arrive and running up the hill presumably hoping not to be bollocked for being late (and then running back to get something he forgot, and a rather resigned trudge back-up again)
