I assume you sliding a couple of fingers under my ribs and giving it a good tickle.

But in case you weren't, when you are coaching your sons side and then you start managing your daughter side, and she trains Saturday and plays matches Sunday and you look after your parents with dementia, you don't find much time, this has not just happened this year, I have been under it a few years now.
Are you missing our prematch pint?:drink::drink: I have to say I do, but
"I will be back"........but when......when I have done my father and son duties.
You were just a young boy when you had your kids and I was knocking on.
I am pleased Potter rose to the the fans, shows he really cares and he was 100% right to imo.
I have received much banter from gooners and others regarding the booing, and I can't dispute what they say.
Normally of course I would have a comeback........nothing at all.
When we get this elusive striker we can sit back and puff that cigar, until then we will have to hope the woodwork shots go it.

Still love you.

I think you have misunderstood me Mouldy. I was in no way criticising you or anyone who can't get to games, Just noting the large amount of people all over social media saying stuff like 'If you leave early, **** off out of my club' and the same if you boo, as if it's anything to do with them.
I do think it was ridiculous for Potter to make a thing about it.

I didn't boo us off when we lost at the Goldstone 2-8 to Bristol Rovers and 0-4 to Walton and Hersham!

I was too shell-shocked after that defeat as ,I suspect, was Mr.Clough,to boo! I'd boo myself for ever booing the team anyway.

We have had some luck this season but Saturday apart from not scoring we were back to our best and dominated for 90% of game. I think Potter was wrong to highlight a few boos out of a 30k crowd

I agree on the first part, but there was a smattering of boos when Maupay was subbed off as well as at full time, and at full time (at least in the WSL which is by the dugout) it appeared to be loud booing, not a few. I have to admit that I was surprised about how loud it was.

Yep…heard a few murmers when Maupay came off (or, more accurately I think when DJ Donut came on), but many more at the final whistle (but still a small minority). Potter has got it more or less right in what he’s said today in that the performance on Saturday didn’t really deserve it (was much better than v Norwich, Newcastle & Villa).

Don't agree with the booing at all; it was an electrifying performance until we failed, yet again, to take the numerous chances we created.

I disagree that the striker issue isn't Potter's fault though. True, he wasn't responsible for failing to land our striker targets but it was his decision to retain Locadia and bin off Andone and AJ. I would like to hear how he came to the decision that Locadia is a PL quality striker and superior in every way to Andone and AJ.

Nobody but the manager sees Locadia as a PL striker. It's baffling.

He is retained to spin the discs at the Xmas party

Okay, mate maybe I have, I just had so many potshots at me in the past couple of years, you find yourself defending before opening fire at times.

I don't really look at much social media especially as it got so political and you would see longterm mates falling out with one another.

Madness if you ask me.

West Ham will be tough I do hope our fans haven't got their expectations up too much for this match as they did with the dirty Leeds.

370 posts in 9 years maybe it's not just the boo boys then!!

People pays their money and it's up to them. At the end of the day, it was, as I understand, a very small % of the crowd that booed. I didn't hear from WSU but then I left as soon as the whistle went.

Potter's reaction was probably also just down to the frustration.

We move on.

I deplore the booing of our team . It is pointless , juvenile. On Saturday the lads played out of their skin, kept a clean sheet and created multiple chances. Nobody could say it was a boring game . I know we did not score but that's football.
I am not denying that our finishing needs to improve, must improve.... but we are 9th in the Premier League and they still got boos!
Makes us look like a bunch of "entitled" morons.

The problem the club have now is they have expanded the ground which means they want to attract even more new fans which is great. On the other hand we are in the top six of most expensive ticket prices add that to five seasons of PL football I think people want value for money now the expectations have risen. Spending a shed load of money to watch certain players who are clearly not PL standard will start to grind on sections of the crowd.

Personally I would say Bloom is in a dilemma now reading these threads a large part of the support aren’t happy watching players like Maupay miss every week it’s wearing thin on peoples patience. He knows he will have to go to the next level of player at some point to keep all sections happy.
