As an aside, I love lists like this.
In your opinion, but then this is 60 of Bono’s....and it’s the songs which saved his life; he’s not saying it’s their best song. Jesus...I’m defending Bono. These are definitely strange times we live in

The first 3 U2 albums are class, and I had the pleasure of seeing them down Jenks in 81.

I remember watching this on C4, loved it.
I saw them at Wembley in 1997. But wish I’d seen those late 80’s/early 90’s gigs.
There are some absolute corkers on that list.
He has a couple of his own. I would like to pay tribute to the loveliness of U2 by posting this Ferry Corsten remix....

They created about half a dozen songs I really like, that’s good enough for me. I’m glad they found fame for that reason alone. Plus I love the rhythm section of Clayton and Mullen.
Bono being widely disliked, won’t stop me enjoying those tracks.

I liked most of their stuff up to and including Zooropa. They weren’t as consistent after this, and my tastes went elsewhere, but there’s plenty in that opening 13 years which I still like.
