Bong Instructions - How to use

Okay I've been working for a TV production company for a few months and today a Bong arrived on my desk needed assembly. I need to produce a sound effect for a scene with some cartoon characters smoking a bong.

Thing is I've never used one before, how the hell does this go together? Got a ceramic bowl at the top for burning (tobacco I'm sure!) then a large silver bowl under that (for water) then a large glass piece under that for god knows what and some long hose thing which I suspect goes in the only opening available.

Come on NSC don't let me down.....

Right - got it! So the water goes in the glass piece in the bottom not in the tray at the top. Sound effect recorded, another quality TV show on the way....

There must have been an easier way to make a bubbly noise surely?
