Ince was far from rubbish - won lots of balls, many decent passes.....bit lame in the air tho....probably too heavy to fight gravity.

Far too much giving it away by both of them I thought. That said, the defending was superb for 85 minutes, so it didn't cost us.
He's now Crouchy in the air, for sure.

Ince major weakness has always been his winning the balls in the air and doing something with it but has looked better recently. It must be to do with coaching as Dunk has also vastly improved in this area recently.

You thought JFC was rubbish.
You can't have been watching the same game as us.

He was superb today.

From a Bolton perspective.....Brighton were well organised & largely commanded the midfield without being anything special, & took the goals well. The goalkeeper was very assured, the big, black defensive midfielder was very good & the forward ,no 19, was a handful.

I didn't think there was much in it, but no complaints.

Kuszczak, Ince, and Ulloa.

We'll be lucky if all 3 are with us in 18 months time, but only one can walk away for nothing in the summer.

Sums it up.

Bolton rarely threatened, but then again apart from the goals neither did we.

A good, solid performance, and a great result.

We had a great day, despite being ejected from one pub, having beer confiscated outside the massive Tescos next to the ground, having a few words with some homophobes at Horwich Partway, and meeting Alistair Campbell at Preston railway station.

Sorry to hear that......meeting Campbell must have been a horrible experience  ( Which pub were you ejected from ? )

The one next to the Premier Inn. Shots? We were sitting in there quietly, having been served, when we told it was home fans only. Shame, as we were just sitting watching the England v Italy rigby match.

Buckley connected perfectly at point blank range and although Bogdan somehow managed to parry the ball, Wanderers were sluggish to the rebound and Buckley fired into the bottom corner on the turn.

Really?
