LVG is going to have some explaining to do to the owners, not only about the performance but also about why the bus was very late AGAIN. Two late arrivals in a month, 0 points out of 6, will probably cost them a Champions League spot.

As for West Ham, they attack a bus then celebrate with Marlon Harewood, Anton Ferdinand and the Cockney Rejects. No class whatsoever.

That was utterly dreadful. They really are the most self important club in football, ahead of Liverpool IMO, at least the scousers have won a bit!

I don't know what was more embarassing, that 'performance' at the end or Ben Shepherd trying to sound more and more like a 'cockney geezer' as the night wore on.

The most embarrassing thing about it was seeing the diminutive porn baron Sullivan sitting next to a massive transsexual in the stand!!!!

Wet Sham are not even my second club, or even a team whose results I always look for, but comments like those above that have been banded around on this board smack of utterly jealously. No, they are not and never have been a giant of English football, they have always been a second level club like Everton, Villa or Newcastle, but they have always had one of the most passionate fan bases around. They have always tried to play football the right way, have always acknowledged their working class roots (that may change now) and until now have repelled the advance of the prawn sandwich brigade.

The coverage on the TV has been somewhat fawning, but that does not change the history of a proud football club. I would rather share a beer on match day with one their fans than some glory hunter from Hertfordshire in a Scouse shirt.

As long as they don't sing a song about a former manager's brain tumour, an opponents wife's miscarriage or simply act a bell-end like last night. Horrible fans and creepy (Golds) or sleazy (Sullivan) owners.
