According to journalist Andrew Drummond, who specialises in news having a Thailand connection, the biggest regional boiler room kingpin in that part of South East Asia has invested some of his ill-gotten millions in a football league club via front men. I wonder which one is afloat with alleged stolen money?

Will the story break soon?

See andrew-drummond.com for more, and dig deeper if you want to know about these boiler room fraud operations.

Well it's not us if you read the article, as the frontman chairman is a Brummie, and it seems the team plays in red.

Well, according to the BBC website :

"Crawley are currently owned by Susan Carter and her husband Ian, who run Gatwick-based company World Transhipment Services.
They only hold a minority stake in the club, with the rest of the ownership made-up of unknown far-east investors "

So how long before the media get their investigative hats on?

As the club has been for sale for quite some time, I suspect that the football league might be aware. At this level it needs to be dealt with carefully, to ensure the club does not just fold.

So keeping a football team running is far more important than seeking to possibly reimburse the thousands of UK pensioners who had their life savings stolen and futures destroyed by the insatiable greed of cowboys operating illegal schemes out of Bangkok office buildings?

If all your pension pot was stolen so some Herberts could play at being soccer kingpins you might reconsider the priorities here.

And yes the powers that be should be all over this like a tramps coat.

No it isn`t. I am more than happy for these guys to be arrested and sent for trial here.
