According to this article in the May easyjet mag, he will be in Sardinia with AJ at the time of the final.

Well AJ won't be in Sardinia either for the entire period 28 May - 4 June. He's playing in the REMF match at the Amex on the 30th May.

Despite the fans who claimed we had signed a striker who was going to score 20 goals this season it was obvious for those who had checked his situation over the previous two seasons that he was not likely to play many games due to his injuries, mores the pity but hopefully he will enjoy a healthy retirement from football.

I don't remember anyone saying he'd score 20 goals.

Perhaps they did, can't have been many of them though.

Simply not true, that.

He featured in 31 of QPR's 38 Premier League matches last season.

I don't think anyone ever thought he would score 20 goals, but if they did they were deluded.

He has done exactly what I expected, possibly a bit more in terms of the goals he has scored, and I'd still say it was a great signing. Apart from anything it gave everyone a great lift at the start of the season, something we have ridden on for much of the season.
