This is very sad news. He looked very frail at the legends game.

Fans ALL over the country will be devastated to hear this news.

RIP.

RIP

Was shocked to see how he looked at the game last week, looked a shadow of his former self and barely recognised him

As already been said a true legend and very sad news indeed

A true great - not just a great manager but a great bloke; huge amounts of knowledge and enthusiasm for the game. At times treated shamefully by the press like just about every England manager but he overrode that with dignity and guts. Top bloke. Sad day.

He went through life making friends and not enemies. He appeared to be genial and maintained his integrity and dignity throughout. Brilliant man. RIP Sir Bobby.

Don't normally comment on these threads but he was a true legend of the game. Showed you could be a great manager and a nice bloke everyone liked at the same time.

RIP

RIP Sir Bobby.

If only he'd managed England throughout the 90s and 00s, what we could have won......

A true football enthusiast, brilliant manager and thoroughly nice bloke.

Sad day for football and obviously his family and everyone that knew him. A gentleman in every sense of the word. A great loss
