What a true legend of the game, possibly the only manager ever to actually manage Gazza. I met him once at a village Church in Suffolk one Sunday back in the day when he managed Ipswich, what a team and era that was. He signed the hymn sheet for me, I was a nice little boy then..

At least he got to see the game in his honour last week and was able to get those awards for his services to football. Still very sad though, but it was only a matter of time.
