Gyp Rosseti CANNOT be killed off tonight, its illegal. He is one of the most monstrously watchable villains since Joe Pesci in Casino. I think Nelson van Alden could have a say tonight, what a beautifully written character.

Comfortably the best US series since The Wire. Steve Buscemi was the name who drew me in, but the rest of the cast has been so brilliant, its made it totally compelling.

Totally agree, he also looks a like ticking time bomb that is about to go off. Loved it when he rammed that iron into that salesman's face :lolol:

It's a tricky one tonight you wanna see gyp get what is coming his way but he's such a great character you don't want him written out of the show
I can't watch it in 20 mins the kids wanna watch Spiderman :-( so I've gotta watch it later

Yes. Tis a good point about the Gyp character. It really brightens up a usually piss poor Sat evening tv for me. I really need to find another corking American show to get into. Any suggestions? Other than the obvious Soprano's that maybe available on
Catch up I can watch from the start

Easy10's posts are always quality. This thread sees him nail them down as usual.

We focus on the hoods, but what an utter bitch that Gillian Darmody is.

Can't wait for season 4.

WOW!! What a series finale! That was what i was expecting at the end of Sopranos, which amazingly failed to deliver at the end of what was probably my favourite tv series of all time. Boardwalk Empire just seems to get better and better. If there is a fourth series, I can`t wait.

The fact that Boardwalk is based on real people and some (true) events makes it even better. Always interesting having a read up of the characters the cast are playing. Doesn't the bloke playing Joe Masseria look just like the real Joe Masseria:

Enoch L. Johnson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arnold Rothstein - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucky Luciano - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joe Masseria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Meyer Lansky - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Johnny Torrio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mickey Duffy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and of course....Al Capone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
