Do people seriously think we are going down? Or are they just being NSC and finding something a bit more interesting to discuss than "I'd say we have about a one in five chance of being relegated". Anyone who seriously thinks that we are "shit" and "sleepwalking to Div 1" should indeed put their money where their mouth is.

In related news, Bloom is due to migrate South for the Winter this week.

On the possibility of contingency planning I did hear that Hughton and Calderwood (his number 2 at Norwich) have been seen at our recent games.

I don't think that anything will happen today because it would be poor governance to do so without a replacement lined up, and I don't think that they will have one as the performances in both the Fulham and Derby games will have caught them a bit cold. I know that sounds far-fetched to us on here but up until these two games I think the Board will have been generally supportive to the notion of giving time and will have been conscious of their own directives about not wanting to be a hire and fire club. The Board have shown that they want to be a club that operates with the long-term in mind. They want an over-arching playing and financial strategy to be instilled in the BHA DNA and do not want to be swayed from it.

However, the second-half capitulation against Fulham and the shambolic team selection against Derby (where exactly did Sami leave his common sense?) may be forcing their hand somewhat.

The game against Wigan, as unattractive as it was, signalled that someone somewhere had 'had a word' with Sami about the necessity for pragmatism in the Championship and the full backs were withdrawn into a more compact shape after we scored, eking out the win. The failure to play with a necessarily and similarly compact midfield (away to Derby you halfwit!!) at the iPro will have alarmed some and has disillusioned many who were on the fence before. The mood in the boardroom will be the same I think.

There's no way he'll be sacked off the back of a 3-0 loss to the best team in the division, especially as we're repeatedly told how competitive we are in only losing by the odd goal.

You do realise that with communications as they are in 2014, you can conduct meetings, interviews etc just as easily from the other side of the world as you can from the other side of a boardroom table? You can also do so from your 'suite' in first class on an aircraft 30,000 ft up in the sky!

I want to see us with a new manager as soon as possible but the location of the individuals involved at the time of interview is irrelevant.

unfortunately I agree with you. One can only hope that they are looking at potential replacements that will be action if we lose on Friday. I sincerely hope TB leaves some easy to follow instructions.
