Silly old bat
Yes but for that money they got the RIGHT players to get them promoted. Young, Hungry, fit, Battlers. Compare that to our transfer policy!!!!
Correction, they got just one player for that amount.

Good post. I'd *MUCH* rather be a Burnley or a Derby than a QPR or Forest[/B]

They signed 13 players last season.
Derby got where they are by sacking their manager at the end of September and getting in the right man. If we are to be ruthless on costs, we must also be ruthless on finding a manager who can make the best of those restricted resources. To do one without the other risks midtable drift
Dyche didn't, his predecessor did, which is why I said 18 months.
Dyche joined them in Oct 2012 so was responsible for all last seasons signings.
The players would have signed in August before he arrived or were free.
Yes so last Augusts signings were with him in charge?
How much did he spend then?
I dont know, it's irrelevant, every player costs whether its a signing on fee or transfer and then wages. It's the type of player they signed compared to the dross we brought in that is the point.
So why debate how much Dyche has actually spent?
Young, Hungry, fit, Battlers.
