I'd like to believe it, but I'd also like to see something along the lines of evidence. I remember a few years back Aldershot announced a new chairman and financial saviour who was going to take the club forward. He had other members of the board vouch for him even. A short while later it turned out that he wasn't quite as rich as everyone seemed to think - they subsequently crashed and burned.
Now I'm not saying that Tony Bloom is another Spencer Trethewy, but I'd just feel a bit more comfortable about this if there was a bit more reliable information about how wealthy he really is and where he earns it from. Then I might join the celebrations.

How about the fact that he has bankrolled us for years and is tying his debt into a 25 year formal loan that his creditors (if he has any) can't touch for 25 years?

We knew where Dick Knight earned his money from. It just seems that on the one hand he has loads of cash to splash on the club yet on the other hand no-one seems to know where it's all coming from.
I would agree it's great news that he's bankrolling the club and the stadium, just want to know how, that's all. Perhaps the way the club was shafted over in the past by Archer and co (with the help of another Bloom) has just made me a little over-cautious, especially as the only info I have seen about the man has been pretty vague.
