How much are we talking ? I know no one really knows but anyone got any idea ie

Was he in times rich list ?
How much was premierbet flogged for ?

Relative speaking, to give 110 million interest free then the bloke is surely worth a good 300 million

What you think ?

As I mentioned last night (when I was an unbeliever), in giving us an interest free loan to 2025 (is that the payback date?) he is effectively writing off a quarter of the money, around £27m, straight away. If he can afford that then yes, I think we have to be looking at at least £300m.

where does £110m come from ?? stadium is apparently £93m and Bloom is only said to be funding "the majority" not all.

anyway, could be he's worth £10m more than whatever he is putting in, i know i could live pretty nicly on £10m

To realise £93mil in liquid funds would require a much more substantial portfolio of assets such as property, businesses & stocks \& shares etc. You don't just have that kind of money rolling around in the bank. If he is the sole investor I would have to say he must have in excess of at least £300mil in assets.

From what I remember, he didn't make the 'Times rich list' for 2009, so personally he's worth less than the £100-110m he is putting into the club. I guess the rest (of the investment) may have come from betting and property companies he is involved with.

But if is Oz based he wouldn't have been in the list unless he was one of the world's richest people which I don't think he is.

He is I understand worth in the region of 440 million as the result of selling his online gambling business a few years back and other subsequent investments. His poker playing is really just a hobby and he is largely cash rich rather than having money tied up. This would explain why he is able to put up such a large amount so easily.

how do we know he hasnt been doing so for the past 12 mths. he could literly have £10's millions in the bank ready. I dont beleive this was something dreamt up in the last week, one of the quotes suggests (what we all assumed) he was always going to be a big investor.
