In front of the PC
Just downloaded IE7 for the girlfriend (I already use Firefox before anyone says anything) and it seems to have f***ed up my system.

It will not load-up and I had to restart the PC. I know have the Active Desktop Recovery screen and I am unable to restore my desktop due to a problem with one of the IE files called desktop.htt. I have tried to delete the file but did not work. So file is now restored.

Looks like I might have to take IE of completely in order to get my PC back. :censored:

D'oh! It's not an OS, it's a browser, and not a very good one, either.

Yep, sorry, just woken up. Best browser Ive used. I know people who swear by firefox, and will never use IE again. But there are also people like me who have used it & couldnt stand it. IE7 is user friendly, fast and secure - for me thats good enough.

Chez. The thing with IE7 is that they have tried to mirror firefox with tab browsing etc so don't get how you can say it is brilliant but hate firefox???

Quite so, how anybody can say that they have trouble with Firefox is to put it mildly, perplexing !
