Well, on a slightly related note, I've booked my train tickets for the Cheltenham game without realising that they may well be in the FA Cup that weekend.

So, if our game is off, which game could I go to? It's on 24th Jan, and I have to change in Birmingham (I'm coming from Leeds....).....

What attitude? It was a genuine question...

Well dismissing the fact you won't get a ticket it's "bound to be sold out/members only/only for local people/AN Other excuse" when they aren't even through to the next round yet means you won't even bother trying.

How do you know it will sell out?
How do you know it will be for members only?

I would have thought people who ACTUALLY go to football would have a bit more common sense about obtaining tickets......clearly not. But then I guess there are still people who think it's impossible to get a ticket for Withdean.

Woah there matey. Calm yourself down a bit. It was my assumption that a poor League 1 team are likely to sell out their 7,066 capacity stadium when playing a match against a top-4 Premier League team...Apologies if this was incorrect :nono:

As for the little jibe about "actually going to football", does the fact that I have train tickets for a Brighton away match not indicate that I go to the odd game here and there (not missed an away game for 4 years now, if you want the truth...).

Thanks to the normal intelligent people who have responded - hopefully Cheltenham will be knocked out, and all this will not be necessary.

Well given that they aren't actually in the round yet how on earth do you know what the ticket arrangements are going to be?

It may well sell out but that doesn't mean you won't be able to be one of the people within that 7k who have a ticket.

Wasn't suggesting that you don't go to games, in fact I was implying the EXACT opposite. I was simply saying if you go to lots of games you should know how easy it is to get tickets for things when you put your mind to it.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the mighty FGR are scheduled to be away to Rushden & Diamonds on the day the Albion should/might be playing Chelts.
