We had a single, huge, clap of thunder at about 4.30 this morning in Beckenham. It seems it woke me, Mrs Flex and most of my colleagues. It was so loud it set off several car alarms, which made getting back to sleep more tricky than was necessary. I might be a wee bit tetchy today.

Yeah big clap of thunder in Seaford about then, instantaneous with the flash of lightning so it must have been right overhead. Woke me right up.
