Kind of forget how close the north stand was to the pitch until seeing those pics. We were just to the right of where they were taken. Will be nice to be able to cheer the lads on from a proper stand right behind the goal at Falmer..! Bring on the new north stand.

photo 2 of the last batch looks like the very first original Hiney Art.

I was on the East Terrace that day, with my dad.

Fantastic pictures Hiney. Brings back floods of memories of a unique day.

Top work, chap. I was standing almost directly behind you, behind the goal with my back right against the back wall of the North Stand, under the 'O' of the 'Hove Superstore' Co-Op advert. That's how accurately I remember my spot. In years to come, perhaps we'll come to love Falmer, but it'll never be the same - the joys of standing up and celebrating when we scored, especially at our end, can never be recovered I fear.

I was stood not far away from where those photos were taken from.
Great memories but now seems so long ago, cannot wait for Falmer.

In London village.
Good work, Hiney.

I've still got some of the netting from the North Stand goal.

The photo copied in post #28 seems to have an old school mate of mine, Chris Smith, in it in prime focus (arm raised)....definately NOT Stuart Pearce though!

Hiney, you've bought me down, just a little bit mate, that ground holds great great memories, but that day, well, it was a pretty sad day. Glad to see you were able to raise a smile, I don't think I did at all that day.
