Brighton - Blayney ready for Saints exit EXCLUSIVE

On-loan Brighton goalkeeper Alan Blayney has revealed that he is ready to make a permanent exit from Southampton, writes Richard Cawley.
The Irish shotstopper recently extended his loan spell at Mark McGhee's side until the end of December - and admits that Saints boss Harry Redknapp is happy for him to leave the St Mary's Stadium.
"I don't think Harry had much problem with me leaving," Blayney said, "He's happy for me to go out on loan and to leave so I'm obviously not in his plans which suits me fine.
"In these situations you do have to think of number one and what's best for you. I have to be playing football now, I'm 24 and need to be making my trade in the game.
"I said last season that if Southampton went down that I'd have a better chance of playing but Antti (Niemi) and Paul (Smith) have stayed where they are and I can't blame them - it's a fantastic club. I just have to move on and try and find first team football elsewhere."
