He ran up this morning.

He probably dived twice and hid behind anything he could to avoid being involved - but then scrambled himself into the hotel and all was forgiven.

of all the cats i/we have had we have never been owned by a tabby (fostered plenty though)

He was the hardest animal in the world! He'll never be replaced, but I'm yet to meet a boring tabby!

I love the way Hughton sticks with a side that's doing well.

Well...JFC playing, Tex on the bench.

Interesting.

Actually, bloody annoying - and my annoyance relates more to the decision over Tex than it does to JFC.

Crap pitch so CH has picked the 'stronger' player.

#BHAFC line-up v Blackpool: Stockdale; Bruno, Greer, Dunk, Bennett; Ince, Holla, Calderon, Forster-Caskey, Baldock; O’Grady. #BFCvBHA

#BHAFC subs v Blackpool: Walton, Hughes, Chicksen, Teixeira, Mackail-Smith, March, Best. #BFCvBH

Disappointed to see JFC start ahead of Teixeira, but it makes the side more solid. Tex is probably THE game changer on our bench if required, and March as well actually. I like that COG is getting a run of games, it'll do his fitness and confidence the world of good.

Why JFC is starting instead of TEX is anyone's guess.

Baldock must be playing as second striker. I think we will try and get the ball forward a lot more and hope that Blackpool's defence makes mistakes.

Not so much conservative as abandoning the passing style.

If he was still here Colunga would be the best, but Baldock, Tex and Solly March are younger and they are more likely to improve and it makes sense to use younger players. All the same sort of players. If Lululua was fit he would be my choice for the position.

Great memories of Blackpool, December 1977 and a 1:0 win with Maybank the scorer. Seagull special train up with police escort along the seafront. I ended up in a backstreet pub and my first pint of Tetleys, it was horrid. Went back there last year and the pub hasn't changed, nor has the beer.
