Blackpool - serious warning!!

I was at Blackpool's ground in the mid 70's. My firm used to do floodlighting. A cold January morning and Blackpool were due on MOTD in a cup match. The floodlights had to be working and clean, for the cameras to pick the game up properly. After 6 pints of Wilson's ale the night before, and me being the apprentice, i had to scale the 150ft high towers with a bucket of hot water and a sponge. I got to the top, the tower was swinging around..... and i was in desperate need of a pee.
So i checked the direction of the wind, and at about 9am.....i pissed over Blackpool. The wind made sure that the flow went a long way.
Now that was cold up there.

Only been there once and it was a freezing day in January, back in the 70's. The police marched us to the ground and we must have been there for nearly 2 hrs before ko and didn't even have a refreshment kiosk open for much of that time.
We did win one nil but must have taken a week to feel warmth again.
