You may think that but that would be ignoring the facts.

He has publicly slated the fans for their criticism of the board and that was when they were doing it away from matches.

He is involved with the Venkeys in as much as he was number 3 at the club under Allardyce. His agent is brought in by Venkeys to oversee transfers. Allardyce was less than impressed and was sacked to be replaced by the client of the man brought in to oversee transfers. In itself that would be bad enough - but I have it on cast iron authority that Venkeys were 'advised' by one of the coaching staff of some shortcomings in Allardyce's style and some comments he had made. That member of the coaching staff? One Kean!

Venkey's don't turn up to matches. jerome anderson (in charge of football matters and Kean's agent) doesn't turn up to matches. Who's left? The man who has played a part in causing the mess who just happens to be sitting in the dugout rather than the director's box.

Read up on the detail and you may have a different opinion.

I can't agree. I think Kean is getting all sorts of stick and I just don't agree he is as involved behind the scenes as you seem to think. I have done some reading on this and I am familiar with this Anderson chap, and clearly there are a lot of problems at Blackburn, and rubbish as though Steve Kean seems as a manager, he isn't the biggest. It is so easy to get at the manager, it takes more creativity and intelligence to drive out the real problem people.

Jesus Christ, where have you been reading this? Keen, Anderson and the Venkys are in league with each other. They have no real commitment or even passion to the Football Club. Why don't the Venkys ever turn up to Games as well as Anderson? Look at the Tottenham game for example, they had no shots on goal whatsoever throughout the whole entire 90 Minutes. The first time a team has done that since 2004. If they didn't sell Samba, the club would of gone in to Adminstration and that is from a source whom my Girlfriend knows.

The players didn't get paid in February, but that was resolved in the middle of March. Thanks to the transfer of Samba, because if it wasn't for him going to Russia. The whole regime would of been cruicified in the papers. But because it was resolved, things have been quiet on that front for now. So I ask again where are you reading this stuff? Because it seems to me, your just trying to hide away from the facts that Blackburn Rovers are going to be the next Portsmouth!

Not convinced by any of that to be honest. They certainly won't be doing a Portsmouth, there is absolutely nothing at all to justify saying that. Just to clarify, I'm not too bothered by Blackburn. I just think the hatred of Steve Kean is massively out of proportion.

I'm not sure you've fully read up on the background of his appointment then, or the incidents which have been occurring under his stewardship which no (normal) manager would accept or put up with.

He's a stooge, put in place to accept everything thats going on at that club whilst publically maintaining a "dignified stance".

Just far enough away from LDC
I could be dignified for 1.5m a year

In fact I'd do most things I find abhorrent for that.

Do you know any Blackburn Rovers regulars? I know two separate "unlinked" Rovers fans, and they're both massively behind the protests. That'll do for me.

Most of what kev has said is entirely correct. My source isn't fred's uncles cat or whatever, it's actually a freelance journalist who has worked for the local media and for people like ESPN. He is massively in the know about everything going on in that team, and I usually take a great interest in what he has to say. Simple fact is they would have gone into administration without selling samba, there are deep financial problems in the club and kean is putting on an 'i'm the innocent party's act. When really he is as much a cause of the problems as the venky's are.

What a farce of a football club?

The Venkys may be piss poor owners but Blackburn Fans have behaved like twats. Their treatment of Steve Keene has been a disgrace. Tonight instead of getting behind their team, they spent the evening spitting venom at the manager. No manager deserves to have golf & tennis balls thrown at them. They deserve to go down.

See you next season lads.

To be fair, I can remember spitting VENOM with ADDED BILE in the direction of a certain Chief Executive. And I can recall people throwing snowballs at his house.

I can't condone the throwing of golf balls (they bloody hurt) but surely no one's been seriously hurt by a tennis ball.

And btw, are Blackburn the first Premier League Champions to get relegated???? Can't think of it happeining to anyone elese

Yep they are. I think Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea are the only other teams to win the premier league and they definitely haven't been relegated.

Its amazing how many voice an opinion with no facts. Anderson is making so much money out of this, as is Kean. Be interesting if he tries to sign more of his own players over the summer.

Yes, but it's not the first time they've been relegated since winning the Premiership, they were relegated in whichever season they sacked Roy Hodgson and brought in Brian Kidd.

I particularly enjoyed the Venky's advertising hoarding with the spinning logos throughout the season. I am sure the Blackburn fans must revel in the brand engagement every time they see it.

I'm fully behind the Blackburn fans, it's not right whats going on up there. As said earlier in this thread, we criticise Pompey fans for doing nothing yet Blackburn fans are also wrong for protesting.

The media are pissing me off by constantly criticising the Rovers fans for their actions and not actually allowing their side of the story to be told. The sooner the fans can force the lot of them out the better. A couple of good friends of mine are Rovers season ticket holders and they are furious about whats going on at the club and the way they're being portrayed in the media.
