Bissouma has incredible potential and it looks like Potter might be the right manager to get the best out of him. We certainly seem to have looked a better, more dynamic team with him in the starting 11 this season. If he adds goalscoring to his game and keeps gaining experience there is almost no limit to where he can go. Enjoy it!

Controversial I know, but he was my Man of the Match.
Arron Mooy was superb, but he has been week in week out, scored a great goal and was brilliant.
Biss' raised his game today to a level we hav'nt seen before., defensivly he closed them down, seemed to understand where every thow in was going, and busted a gut to get a foot in to break up play.
2nd half he dominated midfield, played a great showboat and was very unlucky not to score.
Mooy did as we are being accustomed to expect, brilliantly, but Bissuma raised his game today to a new level and looks the dogs bollox, so for me MOM

I agree. Without Mooy's excellent goal he'd definitely have got my nod. He was the most effective player in breaking up and disrupting Plucky's play and rhythm all over the park, which for me was the key to our victory every bit as much as Mooy finding the pockets of space to mount attacks. It was an excellent midfield performance by the group, and a hard decision as to who was the most effective.

We absolutely bossed midfield today. Propper was always in the right place at the right time, Bissouma was immense but Mooy was on another planet. They couldn't cope with it. Womderful to watch. Stephens may struggle to get his place back.

Very healthy competition for the central midfield births. A trio of Stephens, Alzate & Gross is strong back up. This along with other injured or out of form players making impressive comebacks the squad looks very strong with the possible exception of upfront. An injury to Maupay would be a major blow.

The team against Sheffield Wednesday in the cup could be a good one next week.

I do like DS, but I must admit, Propper, Mooy and Bissouma in midfield today worked so well, all three of them were outstanding today.

Agreed. Everything was so much quicker with those three. I hope they get more opportunity to play together.

The whole team who played against Bournemouth have a question to answer. Can they perform like that against better opposition?

I hope they all get the chance to show they can against Chelsea

and when Stephens came on he gave the ball away 3 times

I think you need to look at your bias against Stephens. Stats from Stats Zone, which are from Opta

Not sure he hasn't done it before - he was equally good against Palace a couple of weeks ago. Looking promising.

Capped off an incredible display by Bissouma, what impressed me most was his discipline. It shows the improvements Potter is making. All our fringe players that played over the Christmas period looked better players than we had previously seen. Onwards and upwards.

His defending was very strong against Bmuff I thought - much improved from last season. Put a boot through it when needed to

Bissouma should've won MotM, good display from Mooy but Biss dropping into that role and conducting himself so superbly deserved it in my opinion

Ha ha good spot. The usual anti-Stephens nonsense by the various experts on here is tiresome so it's good to expose their prejudice. Those who understand the game can see the value that he brings to the side. Back to the original subject it was one of Bissouma's better games and showed his potential. If he can align better decision making alongside his obvious natural talent then he will have a decent future.
