Yep, my wife was 2 weeks overdue and induced in May. It worked really quickly and she went into labour about 7 hours after the induction.

Same, except she was about ten minutes away from c-sect and managed it with the help of the old ventouse.

You're in for the long haul, get some drinks and snacks in. Bag yourself a telly, they have got some just ask. And don't curl up asleep on the floor on the exercise mat for half the night, she won't like it, trust me.
