Why??? How can we as fans not think about Boro? Even defeat on Monday, we go up if we beat Boro. Absolutely every point in the world thinking about every second left in this incredible season. Whatever happens on Monday, it is in our own hands.

Because a win will give us even more options going to Boro. CH will be thinking the same.

Is this the start to the perfect weekend?
Bha 3-0 Derby
And burnley lose at home to QPR
We need it to be more than 3-0 and a 1 goal loss to Burnley. We need at least a 5 goal swing if we're going to make it with a loss on the last day, and even 5 probably won't be enough.

The key game for promotion is the last day. Has been for a while now. If we lose or draw derby we have to win at Boro.

If we beat Derby than a draw is all we need last game

Yes, although I can't help thinking that the team that needs to win tends to be more up for it than the team which needs to draw.

We mustn't let that effect us.

Exactly, personally I hope we stay on the front foot for both games, I don't like this aiming for a draw lark.

The advance 'fix' draw at 'Boro is out of the equation now.

Even if Burnley lose on Monday, 'Boro or us will need to win. In the unlikely event that Burnley are 4-0 down to Charlton at HT, then it may come back into play, but it couldn't be pre-meditated.

Whatever way people spin it, the reality is it'd be a massive advantage not to HAVE to win against the team with the best defensive record in the division. Get the first goal and they'd be bricking it.

Thankfully, what I think has no impact whatsoever on CH or the players.

Although on saying that, if everyone of us in that stadium realises on Monday that if we go a goal behind, it is not the end of the world, we can lift them and not get tense and despondent. If anything thinking about the last game for the fans can relax the atmosphere in the stadium.

Winning the championship would be nice but I'm happy with second.

In terms of being up for it, I'm not sure Hereford is the best example. We were dreadful. Although to be fair to the players, they knew how much was riding on it.

Obviously we'd rather need a draw than a win though, we'd just have to go with the right mentality, which isn't guaranteed.

We were dreadful away all season :lolol: they dug deep that day

Especially as we don't lose when we score first

Another advantage to this result is that by the time we play Boro we could be in the auto places and they could be in 3rd. Psychological benefit for us if that is the case I think.
I don't think the current league position will be on their minds so much as the result they know they need. They'd go into that last game thinking 'win this home game and we're promoted'.
