a lot lot further than that - the new station exit is the other side - my guess is a long two miles

thanks for the info....will look around Cherrywood road. Just double checked google maps and it says 1.2 miles....if need be I'll just get a cab. Don't fancy getting lost round Brum with a 7 year old in tow!
