It really does show what a golden era for rock this period was. I got into rock in the early/mid 80s and the Birmingham Odeon was part of the circuit of about 10-15 venues every rock band played....and was on back of all my tour t-shirts. Need to think about which 3 I’d go to.......

This was on Sky Arts Saturday night, and the Odeon gets mentioned as the sort of place that The Nightingales would never get to play.
