Lost all respect for Noone after the Liverpool defeat. Was gutted and embarrassed at the result and he was tweeting pics from the coach trip home of touching the Liverpool badge in the tunnel...very poor judgement

Bit harsh perhaps. Whilst perhaps it was a touch insensitive the kid was fulfilling his dream, let him have it.

Good man Oscar - proud of the players and dedicate win to fans.

Strong man - working hard - we knew the first win would come soon.

Yeah I understand that but couldn't it have waited a day or 2. It wouldnt have been so bad if we had treated the match more like a competitive fixture than an opportunity to gaze at boyhood heroes. We certainly needed to have a change of attitude from the good old plucky underdog to a team that were worthy of being on the same pitch as we did have aspirations of premier league football at the time

That's fair enough, agree totally. I know enough of Noone, what a thoroughly decent lad and how much he loved it here, to forgive him that poor judgement though. Like others have said, he wasn't the only one, but he and Navs were the only ones to have a partial excuse.

He just said he hopes so in response to a tweet asking if he's off to Palace. Said tweet now deleted.

Transfer rumours thick on the ground here re KLL yesterday or the day before... might not be groundless.

Well if he's not prepared to put the effort in to get in our team then he's best off moving on anyway, A good player on his day but those days are far too few and far between.

Not e.g. against Leicester or Wolves in the last few games of last season?

People seen to have selective memories of LuaLua. Buckley has done a lot less recently, and he's always in the starting 11.

Maybe Buckley puts it in on the training ground?

Thought Andrews was MOM today. Filled a Bridcutt-shaped hole very well, especially first half. His shoulders are a bit square though.
