A big one. Taken the path out.
How far back could this go eventually?

They’re going to have to move the lighthouse again soon.
Yeah, remember the last time. Wasn’t that long ago was it?

Still struggle to get my head round them moving Belle Tout back en masse on rollers, the logistics of that, the engineering nous etc. They figured for a cost of £1-2m, I think it was, that it would buy them 10 years. It’s going to end up in East Dean by the end of this century!
Edit: beaten to it by HWT! .
As long as Dennis Waterman gets out alive, that’s the important thing.
Looked at the google earth view of Belle Tout taken prior to latest fall. It was still close to the edge. ( Sorry could not post a link)
From the road one might have thought it was further back than that . NB, despite the lovely views I would not recommend staying there.
Wasn't there a cliff collapse at ASDA a few years back?
Back in the 70's, I thought nothing of climbing those cliffs, armed only with a hammer and a few chisels, looking for fossils and coming home with loads of gypsum and quartz crystals.
I wouldn't go near them, now.
Well, I think we’ve found our culprit!
Okay, okay! I'll put them back!
