I do not know if this helpful to anyone on here. We have a power line over our drive and have had loads of problems with birds, pigeons mainly sitting on the cable and defecating all over my car.

Turns out you don’t have to put up with it. If you can find out who runs the power network they can put bird inhibitors on the cable fitted for free.

Probably will not be relevant to most, but may help someone who has this issue and didn’t know this existed, like us for the 14 years we lived with it.
