Again harsh. It was a superb strike. For me it was Gods fault because he will try those all the time and wont ever hit it like that again.

Prob a bit harsh but he doesn't shoot if he's marked. Maybe LuaLua should've been picking him up - I have to admit I have no idea where Cairny plays (midfield? wide?) but the German def was with him and left him. Yes probably a bit harsh but someone should have been marking the lad on the edge of the box rather than letting him have a free pop. Great strike though admittedly...

So..... After the first win of the season a mate and I went to Burger King on North Street.

We bumped into Bong who was chomping down on the largest burger in the place. Said hi to him, welcomed him to the Albion and he seemed like a nice bloke who appeared chuffed to be approached/recognised (Burger King was packed and outside of me and my pesky mate, everyone seemed to leave him alone / not know who he was).

So I have a theory that if Bong has a decent game and is on the winning side that he celebrates with a Burger King. Maybe if he loses he has to wait until the next win for that BK fix? Probably not the best diet for a professional athelete but hell, who am I to judge if it gets results.

Any other BK Bong sightings?

Brilliant today, the assist for the first was exquisite  What a step up from Bennett.
