Oh my word. Are you actually serious?

You're coming across as more and more of a retard as this thread goes on. O'Driscoll said it was a yellow, the ref obviously thought it was a yellow, but you have far more knowledge than both of them. We must clearly bow down to your knowledge.

Back to the booing and jeering... How many times at Withdean did H block pick out someone after a careless challenge and boo them for the rest of the game? I don't suppose you'd know as they weren't often televised.

Jeez, I feel sorry for Lewis Dunk. The lad stepped up and played very well (MOM in my eyes, given the game and the surroundings) and hardly made a mistake all through the game and suddenly he makes one mistimed tackle and he's referred to as 'Poyets Hatchet Man' !! Denton get a grip!! He's a youngster, he's not out to end people's career's!!
These kind of tackles happen every week, a defender see's the ball and thinks he can nick the ball out of the oppositions feet. Like others have mentioned, if the standing foot is planted in the pitch, then the tackle will look worse.

It was a horrible tackle.

Change the feckin' record fella. You think it was an awful tackle, we get it, now move on.

I've seen it once, live, at full speed - the same as the ref then - and I never thought it was anything more than a yellow, and was amazed to see Sharp stretchered off, as it never looked that bad. Team-mates weren't stood around looking horrified, the guy tried to stand up FFS .... it never looked like a "triple break" as was ludicrously (I hope) suggested at the top of this thread.

It was a foul, and a yellow for me, but if it's a serious injury then that's dreadful bad luck for Sharp and I hope he's better soon, but the bad luck doesn't suddenly make the challenge worse.

If I'm wrong and the tv tonight shows it as a horror challenge, then so be it, but the ref has only seen it once, like me, and I NEVER had that as a red.

Didn't look as bad as the two that were made on LuaLua and Barnes. The second of those in particular was very bad.

Rose-tinted glasses perhaps , apparently Hayter our other striker has got a broken leg too by all accounts. Dunk should have gone , many of the tackles that were made (by both sides) looked worse because the grass was soaking thus the total lose of footing.
Strange the decision to add even more water to an already soaked surface.
There were a lot of bad tackles in the game that the players had no way of controlling. Wtf we are going to do from here on in is anyone's guess. :(
How the hell CMS was MOM is beyond me for those awful misses.
