This Zebedee person must be Palace or a right idiot.

Thanks for that. As it happens, I don't think much of you either:thumbsup:

As Potter alluded to post match, if too many players have an off night then the tactics are largely irrelevant..

Potter would never blame his players and they had an off night because of the tactics

Easy to conclude, impossible to prove. Think enough individuals had off days that tactics were irrelevant. Tactics weren’t a factor in being one of the last defenders and not putting the ball first time back into the box from a corner. Plenty of individual errors to suggest it was just an off night.

I’d much rather we keep Alzate rather than being Gilmour in as his replacement to sit on the bench most weeks and then make the occasional sub appearance

It improves the squad and with all of our midfielders off to the World Cup means we can rotate more

Whilst losing a midfielder who is also off to the World Cup?

Edit - I thought Colombia had qualified

When Chelsea fans twig that about 10% of the transfer fee gets passed on to Rangers, they'll be even happier.

Gilmour would be a decent signing.

Worth remembering we lost £143m in the 3 years up to 2020/21. Even without Covid we'd have made a substantial loss. Just because we have since sold White, Bissouma and Cucurella for large sums doesn't mean this money would automatically be available for team strengthening.

Our debt is approaching £400m and we are the 4th most indebted club in the PL. Tony Bloom has now invested over £400m in total. In addition to Tony's largesse, we also took out a rare bank loan of over £35m a couple of years ago secured against future TV income. Presumably this was because of the impact of Covid. We might be at the limits of what Bloom is willing or able to personally invest.

Good stuff. In Tuesday’s TS interview, PB said the pandemic had contributed £50m to the losses.

We’re be rapidly falling down the EPL owners subsidy league, billions are being spent, 4 of the London clubs for example in an arms race this summer. Fulham’s Khan has spent £775m more than their true income, only £105m of which went on the new stand.

Has he passed this medical or what?

How long does it take?

Blow into this bag, stick your tongue out, how many fingers am I holding up?

Where’s the net?

I don't believe that we ask that last question.

….or maybe they do things like a full CT scan to make sure the player doesn’t have any life-threatening but as yet unidentified heart conditions (earlier failed transfer targets refers) ? VO2 max and lactate threshold tests ? I only sat behind a desk all day and my annual company medical was three hours

That money would change my life forever, but it’s an accounting error where Chelsea are concerned.

Rangers are even less entitled to the cash than whatever Palace pass themselves off as these days. They should be playing in Glasgow parks on Sundays.
