yeah we have just signed a lad full of potential from chelsea academy who has a year of PL experience for 9m. That is decent business.

Wait until pen hits paper…

Another for me, I totally trust the judgement of TB/PB/GP.

Banking over £100m, with some shrewd player investments. These aren't kneejerk (Everton-esque) decisions.

We may end up being short of goals but who cares? Money in the bank is what matters.

I don’t think I’m entitled, I’m just not convinced he’s what we need right now. If he is the only signing we make today then we’ve not learnt the lessons from Tuesday night.

Spot on, Westy. The meltdown on the Chelsea site is a joy to behold.

Some things change most seasons. You moaning at EVERY transfer window doesn't.

Bet you are relieved you gave up your Season Ticket so you don't have to witness the mess we have become.

Maybe we're not buying him for 'right now' (like the vast majority of our other purchases)

Maybe the club doesn't make transfer decisions based on one game. Lewis Dunk and Adam Webster not being shipped to Bristol Rovers seems to indicate that.

A conversation you might well be able to throw about with abandon at certain PL owners but not Tony Bloom. Come off it. Its insulting to even say it on NSC even if its a joke/wind up.

I would say it’s so we can get Mac up the pitch where he is more effective and can get amongst the goals.

Have to say I’ve been very impressed with Mac in CDM role. I suspect Gilmour is coming in to cover in case Mac or Caicedo pick up and injury and provide some competition but could be wrong. Given how effective Mac and Caicedo have been, I hope it doesn’t change much and disrupt the balance there already. But I like the look of gilmour. Lots of potential and of course trust the recruitment.

I’m biased as i think he’s the best Scottish midfielder since Paul McStay/Gary MacAllister but to see Chelsea fans calling him KDB2.0 makes me laugh

Don't think that's likely according to a chelski colleague BG s more of a playmaker apparently
Unless we re trying the Pirlo style deep lying CM
